A few weeks back I posted about anarchistic Aussie micro-publishers Wooden Toy's sweet pop-up shop in London. Now have a gander at their latest amazeballs issue of Wooden Toy Quarterly (#7: The Music Edition). There are 5,000 individually numbered copies up for grabs, it's tempting...

- Timba Smits of Wooden Toy Publishing Co.

Find out all about their production credits, process & value in this great article at For Print Only.

wanderlust

Ashley of Hither and Thither posted this rad image of Cappadocia in Turkey, taken by Mr and Mrs Globe Trot who are photographers travelling the world on their 6 month honeymoon (congrats!). Why have I never heard about this place? Cappadocia looks utterly gorgeous and Dali-esque, I think it just made it onto my travel lust list along with Istanbul, Morocco, Mexico, Cuba, Japan (again), Andalusia and, well.. it keeps growing! Imagining where we're going to go on our own honeymoon is definitely one of the most exciting parts of wedding planning (pffft you couldn't say we've been doing much of that yet! A bit tied up logistically right now, long story).

Oh my gosh, guys. It's currently brilliant, buttery sunshine here in New Zealand but that won't stop me dreaming about living in this wintery wonderland. This is one badass house. See more here.

next of kin

The Mast Brothers of Brooklyn have been on my radar since they were featured on a blog a while back, but I can't for the life of me remember which one (sorry)! Anyway, feast your eyes on this beautifully shot film (by The Scout) about these beardy bros and their business. Try saying that fast 9 times. The Masts are going to sail to the Dominican Republic in search of a "deeper connection" with cocoa growers and their beans. I love the dedication to their craft, their stunning shop and gorgeous packaging. Drool. And gotta love those beard warmers.

Toketee Falls, OR

This photo, from a camping trip made by Mae Bird, is amazing. Toketee Falls in Oregon. Why is this place not famous?? Or p'raps it is and I'm just a hoser for not being in the know.

Also, the photo of her man below is also stirling.

Nice to see you (edition of 500)

I like this poster of famous British comedians' catchphrases from Ink Posters. Not too bank-breaking, one day maybe!

jolly good!

If you've never popped by jollygoo then now's the time! Hiki is a lovely Japanese girl who takes lovely photos of Japan :D
I found her blog when I posted the other day about missing Tokyo, and her photos filled me with happiness & yearning in equal measures. But they also reassure me that Tokyo will still be there waiting for me when I go back!
And if that wasn't enough, you can visit her online shop uguisu to buy super kawaii Japanese things like washi tape, paper balloons and beautiful linens.
