put a donk on it

I'm a little bit excited. You see, I have a soft spot for actor Paddy Considine; he is most excellent. I also have a bit of a thing for director Shane Meadows' films (although I've yet to see his last one, Somers Town). The two often work together, and now they've cooked up a new film, out soon: Le Donk and Scor-zay-zee :D



Made in just 5 days with no script and a supertight budget - of their own money - the film is about the "wank music Svengali" Le Donk (Considine) and the (real life) rapper Scor-zay-zee trying to make it big.

“15 years ago a roadie named Donk seemed to have it all. Now his life is shit. So he decides to take UK rapper Scorz-ay-zee with him on a road trip that he hopes will change their lives forever.”
